Bathing your Pet

Bath your dog approximately every 8 weeks or as needed. Always use warm water on puppies and dry them well afterwards. Cats do not need baths unless dirty. You may want to bath your cat when she is young to get her used to bathing.

What To Use :

*Hydrapearls - a pH balanced, conditioning shampoo for routine cleansing and moisturizing of normal, dry, or sensitive skin.

*Physio Shampoo - has gentle cleansing action and patented technology for neutralizing odours that make it an excellent choice to maintain a pet's skin hygiene.

*Allergroom - is a gentle, soap-free, hypoallergenic, emollient shampoo designed for frequent use to optimize normal or dry skin and coat condition.

*Oxyfresh Pet Shampoo - is a blend of ingredients formulated to safely and effectively clean and condition.

What Not To Use:

* Medicated shampoos are not appropriate unless prescribed

* Human shampoos are not pH balanced for a dog's skin

* Soaps of any kind will dry out the skin

* Eucalyptus and tea-tree oils can irritate the skin

* Laundry detergents and dish soap are very alkaline

* Old flea shampoos are potentially toxic. There are now much safer insecticides available.

How
Always follow the directions on the bottle. Apply the shampoo a little at a time and lather using your hands. Rinse well and dry with a towel. Be careful not to get shampoo in the eyes. Remember groomers are here to help if you would like us to bathe your pet for you!
